Storyline:

Xavier Lombard is a world-weary private eye in London, in exile from his native Paris; his best friend is Nathalie, a high-class call girl. The missing man’s parents hire Xavier over their daughter’s objections, and quickly he finds himself in the realm of children’s sexual slavery. He guesses that the lost son is dead and shifts his focus to finding and breaking this lucrative business of child trafficking. This movie is basically a Belgian version of the “Death Wish”-films, where good old Charlie Bronson went up against a bunch of various hoodlums and punks, but this time with a twist: The main protagonist is the radio-host Elisabeth (played wonderfully by Astrid Whettnall), a loving mother, who has recently had to go through a lot of anguish and suffering, as a direct consequence of something relating to priests (without going into further details, as not to spoil anything).

Storyline:

Both will live in parallel a descent into hell when fear is installed in their lives and consumes them from within. In the case of Ali, through a message that sends memories to a distant past as a terrorist he thought he had finally escaped; in the case of Leo, when a series of unfortunate coincidences lead him to shoot another boy who constantly torments him. Both characters have to face their fears or succumb to it.
