1h 30min | Drama | TV Movie 14 January 2019
Storyline:
Two boys from different worlds. Of all possible times, the start of summer vacation is when 10-year-old Jona has to move away from Berlin to the German-Czech border with his mother and new stepfather. He’s lonely and angry as he inspects his new surroundings. Across the border, he meets Miro, a 13-year-old Ukrainian boy. Jona is fascinated by the confident but taciturn boy, only slowly discovering the fate that’s hidden behind Miro’s grown-up façade.
User review:
It’s nice to see this side of german cinema – a movie that lives off it’s story of childish innocence. Taking place at the German / Czech border without being a period piece is refreshing and it’s nature shots take me right back to my own childhood in those forrests.
While it doesn’t need many words and thrives off the beautiful cinematography in combination with its slow guitar soundtrack, the movie loses its straightforwardness in the third act. The characters seem less realistic, minor plot details seem too convenient to fit into the movies overall rational scheme.
However I was thinking about this Film a few days after I watched it. Topics like rebellion, adventure and the loss of the innocence of a child in the context of the differences between two neighboring European countries are a mew and much needed change in German movies.

Hi, are there any English subtitle file or a version of the movie with subtitle for this movie? Thank you for sharing
English subtitles available at https://www.opensubtitles.org
it says this file is only availabe for premium only. hm. that sucks really
Would it be possible to split this into 2 parts, since Nitroflare will not allow download w/o premium?
splitting doesn’t work… when a 500+ (under 600M) file was found it still required premium. further, the cheapest “$35 for one month” link cost almost $60 after fees and projected exchange rates. (some were over $80)
60 dollars 😮 ???? Sometimes when lots of very good content appears, i take one month (25 gigs per day) and that cost 15 dollars here in northern europe…
If I use applepay to pay, there is no additional fees also. After currency (not tell what currency) conversion, i pay less than 10 dollars/month.
i’ve tried downloading it time and time again, but it’s always corrupted. anyone else has this issue?
i hate nitroflare
Working fine.
