Storyline:

David and Eliab, two apprentice jockeys get to know each other between admiration, rivalry and jealousy.

They are obsessed with their body, their weight, their size. But, unlike the canons of fashion, they want to remain small and lean. These are jockeys students and their ideal weight rotates around 45 pounds! The scenes where they weigh back regularly, with their lot of stress and relief when the needle does not rise too high. The author of Petit Homme uses these moments of anxiety as metaphors of teenage torments. The physiognomy of the jockeys is likely to change and they are afraid of a late growth, future men locked up voluntarily in the bodies of children. But, behind the gates of the equestrian center, young girls prowl, temptresses that could lead them to the world of adults …
