This breaks his heart and disillusions him. He picks a fight with him but feels obligated to return the favor. So he allows him to get physical with him and then leaves soon after because he is not gay and can’t deal with the situation.

So we started writing the story with consideration of how exactly this miracle worker might be documented and possibly even followed one day. For starters, this particular messiah is gay.
