This is an extremely heart warming and hilarious coming of age movie about a young man in the 70s finding his own personal liberation. It’s beautifully shot on a modest budget and the performances are all really natural and charismatic, the standouts being Oliver Hibbs Wyman & Blaine Kerns’ performances. Highly recommend you go catch this special indie. The movie is based off of the director’s own personal experiences growing up in the 1970’s. It tackles themes of boyhood, manhood, friendship, parental troubles, drug experimentation, and situational humor deftly and excitingly. The pacing is nice and doesn’t drag much. Check it out.
