Storyline:

A father and son attempt to reconcile after years of estrangement in this tender drama from gay Chinese filmmaker Cui Zi’en. Ray was raised by his grandfather, and spent much of his youth railing against his traditional father’s middle class lifestyle. Upon enrolling in art school, Ray strikes up a relationship with another student, and the pair quickly becomes lovers. When Ray’s father discovers the two young men in bed together nude, he begins to better understand what it really means to be homosexual. But things get complication when Ray meets Bo, one of his father’s top employees, and falls hopelessly in love with the outwardly straight professional. Bo is engaged, and by becoming involved in a homosexual relationship he not only risks his professional livelihood, but persecution in his personal life as well.

Storyline:

Wolf Children period drama is inspired by the true story of German troop orphaned children, who between 1946 and 1947 roamed the Soviets occupied areas of the former East Prussia, trying to get to friendly to families in Lithuania. Wolf Children period drama is set in 1946 and follows a group of war orphans who are struggling to survive in the ruins of post-war Europe. The plot focuses on fourteen Hans who after the death of their mother decides to go with his younger brother Charles to Lithuania. The brothers, however, are on their way compelled to flee before Soviet troops and unplanned splits. Hans, driven by the seemingly hopeless desire to find his brother, joins the group of orphans nicknamed wolf children to the territory of a foreign country waged unequal struggle with hunger, weather and disease. After losing a war in the former Prussian region fell to the Soviet Union find themselves in the position of game two brothers – the older Hans (Levin Liam) and younger Fritzen (Patrick Lórencz). Mother them on his deathbed advice to escape befriended family in Lithuania. On a painful journey, which feature length debut director Rick Ostermann conceives as naturalistically hungry wandering savage and cruel captivating summer landscape, meet other German orphaned children who fight for their own lives prematurely forced to grow up. Children’s mission is to rescue another contribution to the progressively growing line of images representing the German hero as victims of WW2.

Storyline:

In a city – with heavy metal music haunting the heroes and the voice of Maria Callas being heard, an aged man, ex-terrorist, who dresses like a woman, the “red Maria”, lives without any law and is hiding in the social shadows as a prostitute and performer, dancing in the streets, old and out-dated dances, for the passersby who give him money. In the street he meets a young boy, who lives there as a street urchin, at deaths door after a neo-fascists attack. The boy, alcohol addicted, hears the voice of Maria Callas, speaks with the dead diva, with the mother he misses. In overdose he dreams of the perfect world. “Red Maria” saves the boy and teaches him the “job”. In order to survive they invade cafes, giving performances that talk for a new, political God, for the political mistake of God, for the end of the ideology. Their world is magical, poetical. And wild. “Red Maria” teaches the boy how to survive. Together they become the magician of the tribe, the holy fool, the rebel. They live a magical personal revolution. But a number of murders will change “Red Maria” and the boy from ideologists, into serial killers.
