This is heartbreaking – what should have been a good thing was turned into a hiding place and hunting ground for abusive criminals (second only to the Catholic church!)
In the US they are so paranoid about how anything related to gay or trans issues is considered “grooming,” yet for decades, they protected one of the most predatory organizations ever.
Pedophilia has nothing to do with gender or sexuality – it’s entirely about power and abuse.
An unnamed Scout leader of ours once said: “If someone works selflessly with children, he cannot help but have ulterior motives”. No, I don´t want to offend anyone. But there is definitely some truth to that.
