Storyline:
The two brothers Julien (Nicolas Duvauchelle) and Louis (Steve Le Roi) work on their father’s steel barge, which he won’t let them inherit. To keep the boat, they resort to stealing a painting, “La Blonde aux Seins Nus”. Unfortunately, a museum guard, Rosalie (Vahina Giocante), catches them and gets locked up in the boat. As the steel barge makes its way up the Seine, the brothers develop two different relationships with Rosalie.

Storyline:
Antoine Besson, Miriam’s divorced husband, is a nice man. In charge of security in a hospital, he is esteemed both by his superiors and his fellow colleagues. Moreover he is a good father who, willing to be closer to his eleven-year-old son Julien, has chosen to be transferred to the town where the boy lives with his mother and his older sister Joséphine, soon to be of age. That is the very reason why Antoine, the caring father, is asking for joint custody of Julien. Well, all that would be fine provided Antoine actually was the man he claims to be. The trouble is that his wife and his two children see him in a very different light. For in the past, Antoine was far from an angel. On the contrary, he had a knack for creating an atmosphere of permanent fear at home, going as far as to occasionally beat his wife under his children’s eyes. And he got away with it all the more easily as Miriam, wishing to avoid even more problems, never lodged a complaint against him – a fact that eventually turns against her. Which is why, despite the fact that Julien does not want to see his father any more, the family court judge complies with Antoine’s request.

Mariusz is a 15-year-old Polish boy who is training as a competitive boxer. The title refers to his weight (38,5 kilos), which must be increased by 4 kilos to move up a weight class. We see him in class, getting a detailed physical exam, training with other youth, at home and wandering alone. While this is listed as a brief documentary, the editorial comment of the cinematography and its editing present the picture of an adolescent boy who has a pretty miserable life. He is berated by his coach for “moving in slow motion”. His friends seem hardly to know he is there. His mother complains at every step and only wants him to have a girlfriend so that there is someone to do his homework. If there is to be a good ending to his constrained life, in isn’t visible in this 10-minute slice.
