Storyline:

Julián Torralba is a former movie stuntman in Almeria, Spain. He and several of his colleagues, who once made a living in American Westerns shot in Spain, now are reduced to doing stunt shows for minuscule audiences on the decaying set built for those old Westerns. There Carlos is initiated into the rambunctious life of these hard-drinking faux cowboys. Julián and the cowboys decide to fight back the only way they know how.

Plot:

New short film by José Ramón Samper Bernad, which has been produced by Artegalia Films, and shot in Alicante.
The film gives a unique and particular view of the world of male prostitution, in the hands of two characters: a mature man who seeks pleasure through the vision of nakedness and the beauty of a young scoundrel.

Young bodies are synonymous with beauty, and the taboos of our society limit the admiration of such young beauty by the elders.

As the pair grows closer as friends, Dieutre also takes on a paternalistic relationship with the boy as he details his own journey of self discovery — partially to assist Itvan with his own adult transformation, but also as a means for Dieutre’s own legacy to endure. My Voyage in Winter was selected for inclusion into the Forum Program of the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival.
