Storyline:

Storyline:
A father and son attempt to reconcile after years of estrangement in this tender drama from gay Chinese filmmaker Cui Zi’en. Ray was raised by his grandfather, and spent much of his youth railing against his traditional father’s middle class lifestyle. Upon enrolling in art school, Ray strikes up a relationship with another student, and the pair quickly becomes lovers. When Ray’s father discovers the two young men in bed together nude, he begins to better understand what it really means to be homosexual. But things get complication when Ray meets Bo, one of his father’s top employees, and falls hopelessly in love with the outwardly straight professional. Bo is engaged, and by becoming involved in a homosexual relationship he not only risks his professional livelihood, but persecution in his personal life as well.

This 1995 film has been re-edited from the original footage and re-mastered. As the story goes: A lonely pretty boy (Patrick Pinney played by Tommy Strasser) is all alone on Christmas eve on his first day away from home as he gets ready for his Freshman year in College. Hr gets tipsy on a few drinks and summons up the ghost of Rock legend Gene Vincent, together they spend a romantic sensual evening together as the rock legend makes the lonely boy feel like a million bucks, an evening we can all only dream of. School year finally starts and the teacher on modern social studies tells the class about his days in Berkeley when free love was king and Patrick starts imaging the summer of love and that dorm room his teacher describes with the debaucheries that would be unthinkable today. Times change, and this is what this movie is a bout. There in class he meets a guitar player on his way to an audition with a producer who our boy has no problem imaging it was the infamous Phil Specter as we travel back to this eccentric’s office in his hey day circa 1966. Finally Patrick and Adam make love in a beautifully lit scene to celebrate their feelings for each other. We get erotic music videos, hysterical spoofs of famous people, romance hot young guys and Full hard frontal nude scene in this poignant tale that will make you swoon. Surprisingly romantic in a hot way. This Disk includes an extra chapter with the auditions and another one with trailers.

Neither documentary nor porn, this unscripted movie falls with a thud between. Damon and Hunter are two nice but inarticulate well-hung young men who’ve done some porn and are now in a relationship. They talk to the camera about those and coming out, saying “Y’know” a lot. There is no background, just the talking heads. Occasional flashes of them having sex grow longer and longer, culminating in the full event, which is badly lit and shot and pretty much unedited (being authentic). They would have dealt with that part much better with voice-overs (at the price of de-eroticising it completely), if they were really trying to convey what it meant to them, rather than have it both ways.
The adult film industry is often portrayed as taking advantage of naive models who are living a desperate life and usually on drugs. This short film by director Matt Lambert shows a very different life. This film shows that some people are happy, healthy, and living a life they want. The film follows five people who work together, for an evening of their own making. They laugh, enjoy themselves, and enjoy each other while conducting themselves as they choose, and not allowing society to dictate how they should conduct their lives.

Storyline:
In a city – with heavy metal music haunting the heroes and the voice of Maria Callas being heard, an aged man, ex-terrorist, who dresses like a woman, the “red Maria”, lives without any law and is hiding in the social shadows as a prostitute and performer, dancing in the streets, old and out-dated dances, for the passersby who give him money. In the street he meets a young boy, who lives there as a street urchin, at deaths door after a neo-fascists attack. The boy, alcohol addicted, hears the voice of Maria Callas, speaks with the dead diva, with the mother he misses. In overdose he dreams of the perfect world. “Red Maria” saves the boy and teaches him the “job”. In order to survive they invade cafes, giving performances that talk for a new, political God, for the political mistake of God, for the end of the ideology. Their world is magical, poetical. And wild. “Red Maria” teaches the boy how to survive. Together they become the magician of the tribe, the holy fool, the rebel. They live a magical personal revolution. But a number of murders will change “Red Maria” and the boy from ideologists, into serial killers.
