Emir Baigazin’s remarkable. virtually plot less film is divided into a number of chapters, each one examining boys struggling with the pain of the everyday and a life, if a life it is, far removed from what we in the West are used to.

Storyline:

Before long, Andy will learn that there was truly a method behind Mr. Simon’s madness as to why he teamed these two up. As the story unfolds, Mr. Simon finds himself the target of a malicious rumor after Principal Kelner (Amy Madigan) suspends a school bully for brutally beating up a female classmate whom he thinks has “cooties.” When Andy watches “Big G” fearlessly confront the school bully, a series of events are triggered which change the lives of both young men – and their teacher – forever. Much to Andy’s surprise, “Big G” is a brilliant, kind, tolerant and decent human being who has more dignity than anyone Andy has ever encountered.

Storyline:
A young Australian girl living in a small rural mining town prefers the company of her two imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan, to real children. Kelly-Anne’s and Ashmol’s father is an opal miner trying to earn a living, and their mother is busy trying to fit in as a member of the community. Both parents agree that it’s time for Kelly-Ann to move on and leave her fantasy world behind – but when they force her to grow up too fast with a hasty decision, Pobby and Dingan are killed and Kelly-Ann falls into a grief-stricken illness. The only one who can set things right is Ashmol.
