The summer holidays are finally here. Marco (Tobias Blume) and Tobi (René Hahn) have made many plans in advance that they believe are suitable for making the entire eight-week vacation accordingly varied and among boys. But then comes the “bad” news: Marco is supposed to go to a holiday camp in the Ore Mountains for a while. What about the beautiful plans of the two?
In order not to have to throw everything overboard in this respect and to be able to experience adventures together, Marco persuades his friend to accompany him by horse and cart from home to the holiday camp – the whole thing, of course, in a roundabout way, of course! And so the two boys begin an interesting, adventurous expedition. But then everything doesn’t go entirely without little “ailments”, so that they arrive at the holiday camp quite damaged.

Storyline:
Martin and Hazel Quarrier are small-town fundamentalist missionaries sent to the jungles of South America to convert the Indians. Their remote mission was previously run by the Catholics, before the natives murdered them all. They are sent by the pompous Leslie Huben, who runs the missionary effort in the area but who seems more concerned about competing with his Catholic ‘rivals’ than in the Indians themselves. Hazel is terrified of the Indians while Martin is fascinated. Soon American pilot Lewis Moon joins the Indian tribe but is attracted by Leslie’s young wife, Andy. Can the interaction of these characters and cultures, and the advancing bulldozers of civilization, avoid disaster?

Storyline:
Ratio Rasch, the president of planet Gyllenblå, has banned laughter and emotions in order to create a society based on reason. Police are constantly patrolling the planet and anyone caught laughing is imprisoned and given anti-laughter serum. Only a few members of an underground guerrilla oppose the president. On Earth, the eccentric Dr. Krull listens to signals from outer space and realizes that something needs to be done so he sends the two children Cecilie and Fredrik to Gyllenblå. Epicykel, a guerrilla member, senses their presence and hopes to get to them first but fails. The children are put in school, where Fredrik has great difficulty controlling his laughter but Cecilie adapts well. The guerrilla knows that laughter is contagious and Fredrik gives them new hope of returning laughter to the people of Gyllenblå.
