Storyline:

Following Cory’s death, Van commits herself more to the study of Tresum magic in which she approaches Grace and asks for help in teachings. Van tries to use Tresum magic to make Michelle forget all about her discovery of magic, but it backfires greatly when Michelle forgets EVERYTHING about Van, and worse still falls into the arms of Brit. Meanwhile, Kevin ignores Toby’s warnings that Ambrosius is dangerous and is trying to break them up. Grace and Van team up to put a protection spell on Kevin to prevent Ambrosius from putting any more spells on him. But Kevin ends up slipping into bad habits all by himself.

Meanwhile, Van decides to commit herself to stying the Tresum Order of magic, which puts a strain on her relationship with her girlfriend Michelle. But the final result has drastic consequences for not only them, but Cory still under Ambrosious spell. Elsewhere, Diana Childs is a mysterious woman who arrives in Dante’s Cove and has a connection to both Ambrosious and Grace, who still resides and looks after the ominous Hotel Dante. Other new characters include include Marco, the handsome new owner of the local outdoor bar H2Eau where Toby works at the bartender; bad-boy Kai, who can be counted on to get his customers whatever they need, legal or illegal, and Brit, another new employee of H2Eau.

Storyline:

Follows a precocious, eleven-year-old Allan, who tries desperately to keep his dysfunctional, rural family together during the social upheavals of the early seventies. His family life is so twisted he thinks it’s perfectly normal to stay awake all night dealing with his father’s hysterics and suicidal threats. Allan’s older brother left town several years ago, and his mother gave up long before that, relying on sleeping pills to escape Henry’s tantrums. Allan then becomes obsessed with a rival family, whom he considers foolish white trash until they start taking away Henry’s customers. He is frustrated that his mother doesn’t take his father’s complaints seriously, and is perplexed by the increasingly rebellious and bizarre behavior of his sister, Sanne. Incapable of understanding what’s going on and heavily influenced by his father, Allan commits appalling acts, unaware of their import.
