Storyline:

In Ávila in 1929, little Pedro goes to live with his tutor at the home of Don Mateo, a self-taught teacher who will deeply influence the boy with his teachings on the relationship between life and death. Don Mateo takes care of his education, his wife and daughter, Doña Gregoria and Martina, they become the family that Pedro does not have and his new roommate and studies, Alfredo, his soul friend. The life of the provinces, the relations with their companions and the experiences lived in this early stage will definitely mark the life of young Pedro.
