Storyline:
During her school’s summer camp, Juana, a 12-year-old girl, runs away to meet Nico, another boy from school with whom she is in love. During one of the afternoons they spend together, Juana suddenly has her first menstruation. Her body suddenly changes, her reality suddenly changes. Juana must overcome the shame of seeing Nico again and accept what is happening to her.

A very cute short about the relationship between Juana and Nico. I wondered about the this movie’s title, but some internet-surfing helped: ‘menarca’ = the scientific name for the first occurrence of menstruation.
