Storyline:

Single mom Claire and her son Pol have a very good relationship despite not having a father figure. But this is tested when Claire falls in love with Migoy, her son’s best friend. The feeling is mutual so the two decided to hide their relationship not just from the judgmental people, but even from Pol. This further complicates when it is revealed that Pol is also secretly in love with Mikoy.

Pol is a gay young man, in love with his friend Migoy.

Pol’s homosexuality isn’t a secret. However, Pol hasn’t revealed to Migoy that he is in love with him.

Migoy is heterosexual, and falls in love with Pol’s mother, Claire. This may not sound realistic in a review, but on the screen it works, and it sets up a very unusual love triangle.

This film has an extremely high IMDb rating of 8.9. (It has very few raters, but those that rated it really loved it. 2/3 of them rated the film 10.) I agree with the other raters, and rated the movie 9.

We saw this film as part of Rochester’s outstanding ImageOut LGBTQ Film Festival.
