Storyline:

Los Bando Immortale is a crazy road movie about a young band from Norway who set out on a journey across the country to attend the National Championship of Rock in a race against time, the police and their parents.

THILDA & THE BEST BAND OF THE WORLD is a successful road movie for the whole family that impresses with its storyline and characters. Far away from the American Hollywood music films, the Norwegian Christian Lo manages to bring his own profound film about friendship, growing up and the common love of music in the movie theaters. Although the film has some parallels to the road movie LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, but instead of the bespectacled smile, the Norwegian protagonist Thilda is rather the type of Wednesday Addams. Only without a tendency to morbidity and a genius on the cello.
