Storyline:
The socially awkward Lau goes on the traditional Man Camp with the provincial town boys to prove that he’s a “real man”. But, things get tricky when he develops feelings for another boy on the trip.
User review:
The two adult actors Morten Burian and Rasmus Botoft, both known for many other rôles, were firing on one cylinder here. Their hearts just weren’t in it. And I’m not surprised. They were meant to be mentors of a group of kids who’d been sent to the countryside to learn toxic masculinity. I’m sure they deplored any such thing on real life and it showed. They couldn’t get any enthusiasm up for the concept.
The plot, such as it was, involving two strands, one of unrequited infatuation and the other the competion to find out who was the “real man” of the group of lads, was played out in four episodes of fifteen to nineteen minutes. So there was about an actual hour of action.
Plot development was sketchy and hurried as it had to be. Motivations for behaviour had to be guessed at rather than being organically shown to grow. Characters acted in the opposite way to their supposed personalities with no reason for it.
I’m sure a young audience might think this was fun. I have a more jaded eye at my age. Although I watched right through, I can’t give this more than a three.

Quite interesting… but a crazy idea to create a “series” from a movie which isnt’t much longer than one hour! Are young people really unable to concentrate on a matter for more than 20 minutes?
By the way: Shower scenes in similar older movies are much more interesting!
But we are living in absolutely crazy times: On Saturday I watched a TV documentary about German beach life in the last century. One matter was FKK (nudism) which was very common in Eastern Germany for many years. But when they show old video clips, certain parts of all children were covered – even if they appear as a little spot in the background…
that makes sense they’d cover the private parts of children for broadcast (though it’s sad that ALL nudity is presumed to be sexualized). Ironic that the kids can play with total freedom on the beach among other nude adults without it being a big deal
Funny thing is, time isn’t stop anyway. If I see some 70-80’s movie, with boy private part. Actor nowadays is “old grandpa”. I don’t think he is traumatized, if I see his privates on ancient old movie… Peoples grow so fast. So what the “protection” Is? About 2010 boyhoodmovies actors are now about 20-30 years old. Nobody recognize them anymore “a boy”. Also data is rotting. Old 90-2000’s “Twink” Hc porn “lollipoptwinks/8teenboy/Staxus” etc is almost vanished on share. Only private collections keep those treasures and sometimes something popped up.
And yes. When I go public swimming hall, there is real stuff. They are lucky, because I don’t have so hard interest of them “private parts”.
