Storyline:
A neo-Nazi organization is recruiting in the 1980s, and two youths of high-school age join for similar reasons, despite class differences. Thomas is the son of a self-made industrialist father and a scolding social-climbing mother. He attends private school and has a brother who’s an accomplished musician, but neither can satisfy mom’s constant demands for school and social success. She belittles them, and there’s incessant bickering at their table. Charly, a dropout, is the son of an abusive, alcoholic laborer. In the youth group, each finds order, respect, camaraderie, and adults who seem to value them. Where do domestic abuse and sanctioned political violence end?

When I first saw this movie, I didn’t quite know what to make of it. To be sure, there is a sense of intense violence and eroticism in this film that seems to be at odds with one another, and overshadows the performances, at least on the initial viewing.
Is it formula? Perhaps, for all of the possible excuses for reaching for violence and hatred are here: indifferent and abusive parents, diminished school prospects, and poverty to some degree- however it should be noted that the most fanatical of the boys is the one who comes from a good home. By the end, there is little of him left but the desire to destroy, and the inevitable beauty that he will self destruct.
On that point, it is very tragic that Nikolas Vogel, the star of the film, passed away so very young. As the young fanatical neo-Nazi, we see him as a lovely, misguided young man whose confusion and disappointment throughout the film ultimately lead to the violent conclusion. He starts as an innocent kid, and finishes as the empty vessel that we all fear on some level.
Very sad that Nikolas Vogel didn’t get to make very many films, for this one made a profound impression on me!

It is really tragic that the main acor of that film, Nikolas Vogel, died at the age of 24! The tragic irony is that after doing anti-war movies, Nikolas left acting to become war correspondent! He was killed in 1991, in the bombardment of the aeroport of Ljubljana, Slovenia, during the Ten-Day War (for the independence of Slovenia from Yugoslavia), the first of the so-called Yugoslav Wars, resulting in the division of Yugoslavia and the end of communism in that area! He deserves to be considered among the heroes of journalism!

Many movies about Nazi’ism are outlawed in Germany. It’s part of their ludicrous attempt to ensure that Nazis never become resurgent, because fascism is always the way to fight fascism.
you just tell nonsense about “outlawed movies”, whatever that would be at all – glorifying swastika is forbitten as well that Nazi raising arms – but what movie you are ever refering to it is not true. Movies get a rating by Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle FSK / Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Schriften etc, so movies are not accessable for minors or not eligibe for public display etc, but no outlaw nonsense

Hi Anonymous. No it’s not. There’s at least three versions of this film, not picture quality wise but different edits by the director/censored for different audiences. 1, a version with much of the nudity and some of the violence removed (maybe a TV version); 2, this version which has become the main one as it is the bluray one. 3, the fullest version I am aware of, which I have only ever seen in VHS quality. The easiest edit to describe is in the sex scene between Charly (the older friend) and the girl – the full version has him undressing facing the camera and being full-frontal naked with a full erection. There may be other edits too but that’s the one that I remember most for some reason!

Premium, you can download several movies here and another sites use nitroflare.
I collect a list (browser shortcuts) and then take one month premium and download all files I want. Then wait some time, collect new list. Only if came something very special, I take premium immediately, so file not vanish. But also then I download several files.

I guess both “anonymous” posters are you? I’ll answer both questions here anyway. Yes I’ve “ever” found the fuller version online – 15 years ago it was the ONLY version! Someone will still have it on a hard drive somewhere I guarantee it. As for proof of what I’m saying? Well it would be weird for me to lie but check out the Amazon.com DVD reviews. Ali and armin1971 both make similar points “good fiilm, shame the erection scene was censored”.

Yes Devon, thanks. Interesting when he says “I’m not sure the actors were over 17. I’ve never been able to find any biographical info for Roger Schauer who played Charly. Does anyone know what happened to him? He never made another film.
Nik Vogel by the way turned 15 while filming Die Erben in early 1982. I guess the film was quite an education for him.

I’m a big Nikolas Vogel fan. I think I have a complete copy of Herzklopfen, but can’t find this Die Erben version.
For other Nik Vogel fans, and to show the versions Walter Bannert made of his films, this is the fullest nude scene package I ever found from Herzklopfen. Full nudity, naked in the oiling-up scene, the longer side shots in the main sex scene where she gets pregnant and the famous erection when she climbs off him. If anyone knows of even MORE from Herzklopfen let me know!

Wow this is awesome! Thanks for that. Nikolas Vogel was such a gorgeous teen. And glad that he was so willing to show his nudity so freely. It’s a shame he died so young. It’s hard to imagine a film like this being made today with such sex and nudity of someone who was definitely under 18.

I have looked through it quickly. The main cut, as I remembered, is the Charly sex scene which is about 20 seconds (and eight inches) longer in this version. You also get more picture at the top and bottom of the frame. The file is several minutes longer than the HD version but that appears to be down to frame rates. I can’t see any other huge edits.
Wow! Finally I’ve seen the full uncut version of this film. Many thanks to you Porto for sharing this. It’s interesting the main cut was Charly’s sex scene and yet Nik’s nudity and sex scenes remain relatively intact in all versions despite his young age in this film. Although we really don’t know much about Roger Schauer or how old he was in this. He certainly was well endowed! Not sure it’s what you’d call an erection but he’s definitely not fully flaccid either. Both Roger and Nik are very handsome young men who provide us with good eye candy! Although it’s worth saying sex and nudity aside this is a pretty disturbing but, I think, important film that still has a lot of relevance today. Sadly maybe it’s even more relevant now.
Porto, thanks a lot for the uncut version! Do you know which VHS is it, though? I purchased the 50 year anniversary VHS (this cover https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/mo0AAOSwGvhUDLzQ/s-l1600.jpg) and although it is 94 min, the erection scene is still cut… 🙁
Hi Feanor, firstly unless I misunderstand something, that’s not a 50 year anniversary edition, it’s the full name of the film “The Heirs – 50 years later” (after the original rise of the Nazis).
I don’t know where the vhsrip I posted comes from but I would guess it is 20-25 years old at least, it is dawn-of-the-internet stuff. So the original German/Austrian VHS release would be a guess.
