Storyline:

Why choose Bavaria for your holidays? Not for the scenery! The answer lies in the owners of the guest house, three energetic young brothers clad in their leather pants. On the train with plenty of company, the soldier on leave with an urgent need for civilian contact – and the zealous customs officer doing a very intimate search! The guest house is packed: a slim, innocent English teenager, a sly, smiley Egyptian spy – and the two crazy French guys who manage to upset the normal sexual habits of the three brothers. There’s lots to do, like a visit to the Chateau Ludwig – but there’s a young layabout who prefers practical lessons to cultural ones. Naked in his bedroom, he seduces the youngest brother Karl, getting him drunk to help things along. What a revelation! A bicycle ride in the rain, a puncture, a good excuse to dry off in the straw and get pumped up before setting off again. It’s cold up in the mountains and the Egyptian falls ill. The athletic village doctor does a very thorough examination and, administering some special treatment, soon has the boy back on his feet. Barns and stables may not be very educational, but they are great for the meeting of many tongues! The eldest brother is cutting wood with his shirt off. The Englishman is admiring the movement of muscles under the skin with each blow of the axe. They warm themselves with large gulps of schnapps and, being a bit dizzy with the booze, the brother encourages the Englishman to have a bit of fun with his axe handle. The normally peaceful mountain folk are ignited into jealousies and rivalries by the tornado set off by the four young men. In the stable bedding, Karl and Franz are having a brotherly wrestling match, their leather trousers open, revealing their exploding cocks in the tense atmosphere. Pension Complete will remind you of Sacr? College and Charmants Cousins.

One of J.D. Cadinot’s earlier films, so this picturesque erotic feature is shot on real film, rather than the cheap video used by modern adult film makers. The difference is jarring, and this beautifully realized fantasy is a fine example. Two French students travel to the Bavarian Alps for a holiday. After some artistically-shot erotic scenes on a train, they find themselves in a Pension in the mountains, with students from all over the World. Equal time is spent filming the scenic countryside as it is on the sex scenes, of which there are many. Cadinot was really the master of all-male erotica, and here he seems to take great care that there is something for every taste. There is some scenes with younger guys being dominated by guys a bit older, there is rougher sex, including a surprising rape scene, some wrestling, pissing, and of course Cadinot’s specialty; interracial sex, which IMO are the best scenes, obviously the director’s choice too, as the most time is spent on these. The final scene with the Djemel Dixy, (the Egyptian boy) and the English-speaking blond is the most romantic scene in the film. Those familiar with Cadinot’s early work will expect beautiful production values, fine music score, great sets and super-attractive performers, and this “Pension Complete” does not disappoint. There is also a surprising amount of comic moments, mostly involving alcohol, and these moments make this even more fun to watch. Some of the erotic scenes are surprisingly short and to the point, but every scene is finely executed. J.D. Cadinot continued making films into the 90’s, up until is death in 2008, but when he switched over to shooting on video, the magic was somehow gone. These early films are a remnant of a special time and should be considered today, as art.
