A Certain Kind of Silence 2019
1h 36m | Drama | 29 November 2019 (Serbia)
Storyline:
A young au pair meets a radical family community while working abroad and gets lost in the new world presented to her.
User review:
Cold, unrational, where the background is unknown, during the entire film, until the end.
The girl enters to a place, where the money does not count only the way of growing up a kid in a strict way to create his anger to rule the world. The really emberrassing part, when the girl believes that she really needs to serve this place and as she have become part of it. It is so strange to see her with his boyfriend, serving him.
You will be schocked at the end of the film.
A must see.

The (anonymus) comments above are remarkable, because of the explanation at the end of the movie: “In September 2013 the German police raided two communities and took 40 children way from their parents. The communities belonged to the Twelve Tribes cult. The cult aims to raise 144,000 male virgins, who would prepare the way for Christ’s second coming. The children’s upbringing is based on corporal punishment for disobedience, showing emotions, playing, etc. Twelve Tribes runs bio farms, youth hostels, cafés and restaurants in the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Brazil, Argentina en the Czech Republic.”
