Storyline:

A 16-year-old boy defies his bourgeois family’s expectations by starting a masonry apprenticeship where he meets a charismatic Ukrainian colleague who shakes up his world.

User review:

A moving coming of age story about a teen’s struggle with desire and existential angst. His parents and brother are mostly kind and well-meaning, but life is sometimes hard when you’re 16. It’s also beautifully filmed, set in the South of France.

The film is a little reminiscent of Call me by your name, but rather different still.
