Storyline:
Pilar and Isabel. Mario and Jaime. Two mothers. Two sons. A new family unit. A new normal. Well, at least that’s what Pilar and Isabel hope will happen during their week-long vacation in a country house: that their respective 13-year-old sons will come to understand their relationship, their love, and that they can connect and accept each other for what they will have to be: brothers. But, of course, there are many ways to connect and accept each other.

Pipiolos is a short film with social and educational value. It deals with adolescence and the first questions about sexuality, and could be shown in schools to provide examples of healthy behavior and normalize certain thoughts. Although there are a few somewhat forced scenes where a line is spoken to emphasize a situation that the viewer might already know, Daniel Sánchez Arévalo ‘s latest film offers a lesson on the search for sexual identity through the story of two pre-teens whose mothers have started a relationship.
