User review:

This movie has nothing to do with Peter Pan. Nothing to do with Lost Boys, nothing to do with art. The child actors are child but it is still obvious that they havent been chosen by their talents, they are at the beginning of their career, i hope they will improve more.

Writing and story was horrible and dialogues were too dumb even for my 8 yrs old and 11 yrs old. Both stopped watching the movie even before the first half. I asked why they stopped, they said it is the same stereotypes that they see every day at their school. And they got fed up with these things to shove their throat. This is coming from their target audience of 8-11 yrs old,

i hope disney is not making money with movies anymore and they basically become a toy seller company. Soon all will be lost. Walt Disney created a great company that butchered to bits by the new generation.

Dont pay stream to watch it and simlpe stayt away from this bore-fest.

A brandnew movie in an excellent quality – thats good! But I don’t like it! Maybe I’m a bit old-fashioned but this is all too full of politically correctness: If they think that Tinkerbell should be a woman of colour – OK. But that the half of the Lost Boys are girls – that is absolutely outrageous!!

It’s revisionist for sure. Other’s stories should not be changed so drastically. Lost Boys in the original and many adaptations are whom? Exactly.

Honestly, this is just another sad failed attempt to profit off Peter Pan. I wish someone would develop a screenplay that is literally just the source material and doesn’t have all these PC and so-called “Kid Friendly” modifications. The original works made by J. M. Barrie were actually written for children so to go and say they are “inappropriate” now and need modifications is completely ridiculous.

  3. Thomas says:

I agree there remake Peter Pan stories are atrocious. But at the same time JM Barrie gave all rights to the Great Ormond Street Hospital in 1929. Over the years, this generous gift has provided a significant source of income to help support the work of the hospital, and to help provide seriously ill children with the best chance to fulfil their potential. I hope they drained Disney’s bank account on this one.

    Woke garbage.

Wow, some Americans today really are off the deep end, first they butchered Aladdin into a weird half-Indian Bollywood version, then they ruined the Lion King, and then made that horrible LOTR nonsense which spat on everything Tolkien and Jackson stood for.

Now even the innocent story of Peter Pan has been twisted and ruined. But why??

The faux-progressive American-centric endless obsession with identity / victimhood politics, MeToo and cancel culture is slowly but undeniably ruining their popular entertainment.

This is because money is over real art.

That’s why dutch “Close” is very beautiful movie and I commented there, where is American “Close” (or 80’s Stand By Me)? What the hell happened.

But that happened. They are desperate get money and use some kind of “shoot out”-tactic ruining every single one old beloved franchise or concept. Star Wars, Jurassic, Terminator, Every child memory. Everything is ruined because greediness. Every VOD service. Every game. All music. Windows is spying add s*t…. etc.

But there is one good thing. European and oddly South-American stuff is very good nowadays.
