Storyline:
Karla invites Katrine to spend the holidays with her, hoping they might become best friends. As it turns out, nothing goes as planned. Karla meets Jonas and falls in love for the first time, and she nearly forgets all about Katrine. However, the two girls are forced to put their difficulties aside for a while, as they join Jonas in exposing a local gang of thieves.

A great adventure awaits them after meeting the mysterious Jonas (Joshua Berman), a boy their own age who comes from a home. During the summer months he stays with a host family and would like nothing more than to stay with his host parents. However, a gang of juvenile criminals is throwing a spanner in the works. They keep robbing the village shop and Jonas is blamed for it. Karla and Katrine are convinced of his innocence and try to convey this to the villagers and the police. That turns out not to be so easy. Meanwhile, something beautiful blossoms between Karla and Jonas, much to Katrine’s annoyance. She is jealous of the attention the two have for each other; they don’t even see her anymore!
