Storyline:
In the midst of the war in Gaza during the Second Intifada in 2003, two boys, one Palestinian and one Israeli, along with a former surfing champion, form a friendship united by the love of water and learn from each other.

Children of Gaza – On the Waves of Freedom is a film that requires a human parenthesis before any critical comment. A film that is necessary to identify with a world far from us that has been experiencing an irreconcilable conflict for decades. A film that does not want to side with Israel or Palestine, but rather wants to highlight the violence that children suffer, between the bombs of one and the despicable use that Hamas makes of them on the other. A product shot well before October 7, 2023, and placed temporally twenty years ago, today it acquires an importance that goes beyond the film’s realization and therefore must be seen to remain anchored to contemporaneity and its absurdities. In the words of Pope Francis :
This film with the hopeful voices of Palestinian and Israeli children will be a great contribution to the formation of brotherhood, social friendship and peace.

This movie was from 2003, one side occupied the other, one side have power to control the other, one side slaughters the other to exist, today is 2024 and we still watch Palestinians being massacred in their own land 💔
Israel never “controlled” Gaza. They lived in peace before 7 October 2023, the Gaza population had 25 miles of beachfront to develop themselves and could live well and peacefully with their Israeli neighbors. But they did not. They allow themselves to be controlled by Hamas and Iran. You are a fool and very ignorant about this topic, as many people seem to be.
You CLEARLY don’t know what you’re talking about. Israel exists on land taken away from Palestine and given to jews right after WW2 to start their own country, which ended up being Israel. The land that Israel exists on was taken from Palestine, many people living in Gaza or the West Bank can walk to you places they used to live, that are no longer theirs and are owned by Israelis. Israel controls all movement of Palestinians, just like the Nazis did the jews. Israel has committed slaughter and forced relocation of the Palestinian people since WW2. It’s really not that hard to research and learn without just assuming you know what you’re talking about.
