Storyline:

The trip teaches the man to rediscover both the world outside urban Argentina, and also to rediscover his son.
User review:
AMIGOMIO tells its story in multiple staggered flashbacks and memories. In the end, we learn there, the two made it; more than that, a career was made in exile, Carlos really became what he may have always been, a bourgeois. He’s a survivor, but far from a winner. That is what is most convincing about AMIGOMIO, that it remembers and names what is so often forgotten: the losses that it costs to survive – even if you mean it well. Talking about morality without moralizing. It’s not easy. It seems to have worked here.

This is a great movie, but it’s a shame the audio track is using Dubbed German. The actors are actually speaking Spanish in the original movie. There is a low-res version of the movie on YouTube, where you can clearly hear and see the movie is in Spanish. Bolivia looks like a very interesting and beautiful place to visit.
