Storyline:

Paris 1930. Paul always had only one and the same horizon: the high walls of the orphanage, a severe building on the outskirts of Paris. Entrusted to a cheerful lady of the countryside, Celestine and her husband, Borel, the somewhat rigid gamekeeper of a vast estate in Sologne, the child of the cities, recalcitrant and stubborn, arrives in a mysterious and worrying world, that of a sovereign and wild region. The immense forest, the misty ponds, the moors and the fields, everything here belongs to the Count of the Comte de La Salle. Fresnaye, a taciturn widower who lives alone in his mansion. The Count tolerates poachers on the estate, but Borel is relentlessly hunting them down and hounding the most cunning and elusive of them, Totoche. In the heart of the fairytale Sologne, next to the poacher, a great nature lover, Paul will learn about life but also the forest and its secrets. An even heavier secret weighs on the estate, because Paul did not come here by chance.

Storyline:

Summer 1958. Frédérique and Sophie go on vacation as they do every year to La Baule, where they find their uncle, Léon, nice and loud mouth, their aunt Bella, pregnant, and their little cousins. Like every year? Not quite. This year, Léna, their mother, is still staying in Lyon for mysterious reasons. If Sophie’s six-year-old’s don’t pay attention any more, Frédérique’s thirteen-year-old noticed a discomfort between Mom and Dad. In fact, nothing is going well. Léna can no longer support life with Michel, her husband, and is in love with a young artist, Jean-Claude. He comes to join Léna as soon as she arrives and finds her every evening on the beach, in her tent. The smoldering crisis does not prevent children from doing stupid things (setting fire to the Mickey Club, poisoning goldfish with suppositories), nor from experiencing their first emotional emotions. One day, Michel arrives. Things are going very badly, and Frédérique is forced to intervene to separate him from his mother. Lena then announces her decision to divorce the children. Michel will try to convince her one last time, but in vain. At the end of the holidays, Léna and the two little girls do not return to Lyon.

Storyline:

1962. Joseph, 13 years old, a choirboy and a true “light” of religion, set out to become Pope. Not less. Of Spanish origin, Angela and José, her parents, fled their country and misery to settle in a small village around Perpignan. Angela, sensual and beautiful to damn a saint, is an attentive and possessive mother. Joseph, this only son, she feels that she has received him as a gift from heaven. So she puts all her energy and maternal love overflowing to encourage the vocation of her son, unlike José who wishes for him a “normal” life, a life of man, simply. Pensioner at the junior seminary, Joseph is happy to be called, to be part of the elite, even if the atmosphere is not always the one he imagined. Fortunately, there are Louis and Emile, his two friends, and especially Sister Agnès, a young novice, a music teacher who must make her wishes at the end of the year. She will disturb Joseph by informing him of his uncertainties. Then come the questions: what if this vocation was only the desire of a mother not to share her son with other women? Returned a few days of the seminar for misbehavior, Joseph will have the opportunity to live in the village like other children his age and, perhaps to take taste.
